GRIFFITH'S PRIMARY VALUATION OF RATEABLE PROPERTY FOR COUNTY MAYO - Castlerea Poor Law Union

Edited by Richard Griffith, and originally published 1855 to 1857, totaling 1308 pages for the entire county.

We have reproduced the complete Griffith's Valuation for County Mayo in 12 parts, one for each Poor Law Union. Several of the Poor Law Unions extend into adjoining counties -- only the Mayo portion is included here. For each piece of property, this source lists a map reference to its location; the name of the townland, town, or village & name of the occupant; name of the person from whom that occupant leases the property; a description of the property and improvements; the number of acres; value of the land; value of any buildings; and the total value.
