TABULAE GENEALOGICAE AD ILLUSTRANDAM HISTORIAM IMPERII GERMANIAMQUE
PRINCIPEM. By Johannis Stephani Putteri. Originally printed at
Goettingae, 1768. 22 genealogy tables.
This important and extremely scarce work is one of those rare early
genealogies that allow a few lucky researchers to trace their
ancestry back to very early times. Some of the lines shown in these
tables begin as early as 700 A.D. The princes and royalty of
various Germanic principalities are represented, including Bohemia,
Palatinate, Luxenburg, Brandenburg, Saxony, Bavaria, Mecklenburg,
Wurtenburg, Baden, and many others. The tables and explanatory text
(including references) are entirely in Latin. This is an essential
reference work for the serious German researcher.
