As a compliment to the index 0063, we are now making available the complete set of original records as well. These five volumes, which are also available individually for those persons only interested in a particular area, cover the entire county. Each of the volumes covers the Wicklow portion of one Poor Law Union: Vol. 1 -- Baltinglass; Vol. 2 -- Naas; Vol. 3 -- Rathdown; Vol. 4 -- Rathdrum; Vol. 5 -- Shillelagh. For each piece of property, this source lists a map reference to its location; the name of the townland, town, or village & name of the occupant; name of the person from whom that occupant leases the property; a description of the property and improvements; the number of acres; value of the land; value of any buildings; and a the total value.

Vol. 1, Baltinglass PLU includes the barony of Upper Talbotstown, and parts of the baronies of Lower Talbotstown and Ballinacor South.

Vol. 2, Naas PLU, includes part of the barony of Talbotstown Lower.

Vol. 3, Rathdown PLU, corresponds to the barony of Rathdown.

Vol. 4, Rathdrum PLU, includes the baronies of Arklow, Newcastle, and Ballinacor North, and parts of the barony of Ballinacor South.

Vol. 5, Shillelagh PLU, corresponds to the barony of Shillelagh.
