This useful book includes many facts beyond the names and dates for
locally recorded births, marriages and deaths. The marriage record
may include any or all of these details: the grooms occupation,
ages f or both partners, whether first marriage for each, place of
birth, residence at time of marriage, parents names and place of
residence for the parents, as well as the name and residence of the
person performing the marriage. Birth records often include the
fathers occupation. Death records include the cause of death in
many instances. The index includes the names of the principals
involved in each event.
