This work traces the various ancestral lines of Uriah Hill Jr. (b. 1817) and his wife Alethea Finch. Some of the progenitors of lines traced include: Anthony Hill who married Mary Ward ca. 1726, and resided Westchester county NY. Richard Dean, son of Richard Dean and Mary Ward, married Alethea Austin in 1794 and resided Putnam county NY. Philip Pinckney who obtained land in Westchester county NY in 1664. Jonathan Austin married Charity Odell in the early 1740's and resided Westchester and Dutchess counties NY. James Barker (1778 -- 1842) married Hetty Austin (1780 -- 1870). John Rhoades was the father of Isaac Rhoades who married Charity Hill and moved to Dutchess county NY prior to 1747. Reuben Finch married Abigail Reynolds in 1794 and resided in Fairfield county CT. Abraham Smith Jr. was born 1763 in Putnam county NY married Mary Knapp. Isaac Lounsbury died in Westchester county NY ca. 1773.
