Henry Leland was born in England about 1625, and emigrated to
America in 1652 with his wife Margaret Badcock, settling in
Massachusetts. This scarce and comprehensive genealogy traces their
descendants f or two centuries, and includes much biographical
detail on the various descendants. All families are presented first

date and place, and occupation for each. This is followed by a
narrative that gives details about the family. There are thousands
of allied families mentioned, and some of the more frequently
mentioned names include: Adams, Allen, Bacon, Baker, Batchelder,
Brown, Bullard, Clark, Daniels, Davis, Day, Drury, Fisk, Fletcher,
Greenwood, Hall, Harrington, Hill, Johnson, Kimball, Mason, Moor,

Stow, Taf t, Thayer, Walker, Ware, Warren, Wheeler, Wheelock,
