This extensive and comprehensive genealogy traces the descendants
of John Hollister who was born in England in 1612 and came to
America about 1642. The author assigned each descendant a number
for this genealogy, and from that system we can determine that a
total of 5563 direct descendants are enumerated, along with their
spouses and in--laws. Despite the large number of individuals dealt
with, the author manages to include a great deal of biographical
detail in addition to the usual vital statistics. A few of the
