This brief genealogy traces the descendants of Thomas Joy who
resided in Boston in 1634. He removed to Hingham, Massachusetts in
1646 when he built the town mill. After tracing the Joy line to the
author's family, she gives an account of the ancient history of the
family in England and Ireland.
