This genealogy traces the ancestors of Benjamin Cleveland back to
Moses Cleveland who married Ann Winn in 1648 at Woburn, Mass. The
author then goes on to trace all known descendants of Benjamin
Cleveland, who was born at Canterbury, Conn., in 1714. Both male
and female lines of descent are followed. An extensive appendix
then traces some of the other descendants of Moses Cleveland, along
with information on many allied lines, including descendants of
Edward Winn, Capt. James Chamberlain, Samuel Allen, Thomas Adams,
and the families of Burgess, Knapp and Barnum. Some other allied
lines include Alcott, Bean, Blake, Clark, Clifford, Eaton, Hamblin,
Hibbard, Hilliard, Hovey, Howes, Lewis, Lord, Martin, O'Brien,
Paine, Payne, Pearson, Reese, Sanderson, Stetson, Sutherland and
White.
