EPHRAIM AND PAMELA (CONVERSE) MORRIS, THEIR ANCESTORS AND DESCENDANTS. By Tyler Seymour Morris. 207 pages, indexed.
Originally published in 1894 at Chicago. Reproduced in 1988 on two

Ephraim Morris was a descendant of Thomas and Grissie (Hewsome)
Morris, who were married in 1629. Their eldest son, Edward Morris,
was born at Nazing in Essex County England in 1630. He came to
America and settled at Roxbury Mass., and married Grace Bett in
1655. The ancestry of Pamela Converse is shown all the way back to
William The Conquerer. The immigrant ancestor was Edward Converse
who was born in England in 1590 and came to America in 1630 with
his wife Jane Clarke. This genealogy traces both these lines of
ancestry, as well as other (maternal) lines, then turns to the
descendants of Ephraim Morris, who was born in 1772 at South
Wilbraham (later called Hampden) Massachusetts. Some of the allied
lines include: Adams, Ames, Andrews, Angier, Aspinwall, Atwood,
Baker, Baxter, Bliss, Blodgett, Boughton, Bowen, Bowman, Brewer,
