Oakland County Michigan Genealogical Notes By Andrew J. Morris. 155 pages. Published 2001 as an ePublication.

This ebook contains four articles of interest to genealogists searching for information in Oakland County Michigan:

  • Index to the 1900 Census for Addison Township
  • Index to the 1860 Census for Farmington Township
  • Index to the 1900 Census for Farmington Township and Village
  • History of Novi (1877)

The Index to the 1900 U.S. Federal Census for the Township of Addison, Oakland County Michigan lists the surname and firstname of each person in alphabetical order, followed by the person's month and year of birth, and the page and line reference to the original census rolls. This index includes every name in the census, not just heads of households, and contains over 1100 names.

The Census Index for Farmington Township, Oakland County Michigan, 1860 U.S. Federal Census, lists the names of individuals in the census, along with their estimated approximate year of birth (based on age in the census), place of birth, and a page reference to the original census schedules. Also includes entries from the Mortality Schedule. Includes every name in the census, not just heads of households, with over 1900 names.

The Index to the 1900 U.S. Federal Census for the Township and Village of Farmington, Oakland County, Michigan lists the surname and firstnames of each person, in alphabetical order, followed by the person's month and year of birth, and the state or country of birth. At the end of each entry is the page number from the original census. This index includes every name in the census, not just heads of households, and includes over 1750 names.

The Novi Township portion of The History of Oakland County Michigan, by Samuel W. Durant, 1877, lists all of the earliest pioneers of the township, and gives stories about the early settlement. The description of the township as it was at the time of publication, now more than a century ago, also includes many names and historically significant descriptions.
