Hanmer's Chronicle of Ireland is a rare compilation of ancient Irish history. This
volume is labled part II -- but since it begins 300 years after The Flood we must
assume the first part covered Biblical times, and was more properly concerned with ancient mythology
rather than Irish History. In this volume, Hanmer covers Irish history from earliest times to the year
1284. Marleburrough takes up the story from 1285 to 1421, at which point this narrative ends.
