Description:

This carte de visite has a large sized bust of a woman with plain background that has been shaded dark near the face to improve contrast. The card is a chocolate brown color, .7mm thick, with gilt edges, and a gilt line around the front. Corners are rounded. The back (illustrated)has an ornate, coin-motife in gold and silver colors. The photographer's imprint reads "Landy. 208 Fourth St, cor. Plum, Cincinnati, O." The medals bear the dates 1872 and 1873.
